Bruiser

Joshy and I got our first pet together last night. He is a Maine Coon, which is the kind of cat I grew up with and my absolute favorite. I already love him so so much! He is quickly becoming competition for my fiance' (just kidding). But I really do love little Bruiser a lot!

I'm ENGAGED!!!!

So now that I have had time to tell everyone I know so they don't find out by reading my blog or something and get upset at me... I want to officially announce that I am soon to be Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Woods!!!

Josh proposed at Lake Morton where I grew up, after taking me to a bunch of my very special hometown places that I miss!!! It was an adorable proposal and I couldn't be happier!!! I'm the luckiest girl in the world.

today is the day i get to go home to my lovely florida! :) there is truly nothing better than 4th of july weekend with friends and family and the pool, beach and river! i can hardly wait... 5 whole days there too! :) i am blessed!

Fun night last night... we went to the Pasta Bowl for dinner where I got an ammmazing scallop fettuccine Alfredo and then we went to Molly's to get cupcakes for dessert later... yum yum!

We found an amazing little lillypad pond tucked away in the Lincoln Park Zoo area...

Geese :) so cute... then Josh said... he wouldn't even need a gun to get one here... oh boys ;)

I wanted to take one of the little babies home!! SOOO cute!
